The Santikos Micronaut Center is located within the Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College, to ignite a passion for learning. They approached Exhibit Concepts about designing a space built around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education to foster problem-solving, teamwork, and communication through an immersive and interactive educational experience. This space was geared towards giving children aged 4 to 9 a space to escape the reality of the everyday classroom and get a chance to learn in space and emphasizes STEAM education and its aims to make a positive impact on the world and instill a lifelong passion for learning with a sense of responsibility for the planet Earth. I was brought onto the project at a relatively early stage and was told "We want graphics that are simple enough for a child who can not read to understand what to do at each station, we want them to be blue and white space themed and it needs to contain both English and Spanish." From there I developed the iconography, color branding and over all look and feel of the space used throughout the space that was used not only in the printed graphics, but also with in the digital interactives throughout the space.
